Important information:

Client and spouse must obtain a valid marriage license from the Town Clerks Office in the town where they will be married : For Connecticut & Rhode Island Information

Please be advised that you are responsible for obtaining your wedding license
from the town hall in TOWN in which you are to be married in. And take note
you can get it up to 65 days before your wedding.
Also you will be needing a copy of your wedding certificate to change your
name in the future…tell the town clerk, as you’re filling out the marriage license
that you will be wanting a copy. They will charge you a nominal fee for that
and when they get the license back from me, automatically they’ll send you a
copy. It makes sense to do it ahead of time.
To make life easier…you should both be there…with either driver’s license
and/or passports. In CT the license cost $30. Some on the ball town clerks let
you pre pay the extra additional $20 to have a certified copy automatically sent to
your home address after they get it back from me. So pay ahead if you can …it
will save you the aggravation later !!!
All you do is fill out the form…they type it up…You check it over and then they
have you swear to it! That’s it…takes no more than about 20 minutes
I’m the one responsible AFTER THE CEREMONY of returning it to the proper
authorities.
Just remember throughout the process that I am always available to you to help

***If I will be running the rehearsal, please make sure your venue coordinator knows…tell them you’ve hired me to run it. (the site coordinators don’t always know what goes on during the ceremony and I do special things that set me apart from the others.)
Also understand that in most cases I can run a rehearsal right at the restaurant where you’ll be having your rehearsal dinner…so the venue is, most of the time…a moot point. Just make sure you discuss it with me ahead of time.
Oh and if you’d like me to join you for your rehearsal dinner, please let me know ahead of time. I don’t assume I am invited.
Finally, please remember that I only perform rehearsals that are held in this area…meaning if you’re getting married at Saltwater Vineyard Farm and live in Darien…I will not be traveling to Darien to perform a rehearsal.

Thank you for choosing me to help create your wedding. Communication is the
ultimate key to producing the day of your dreams…your wedding day!
With that in mind, here is a list of my responsibilities to you. These are the
vendors I will hire for you. As stipulated in the contract, I will contact and
coordinate all vendors for you. Your job is to sign each one of their contracts and
directly deliver necessary payments according to the vendors specifications as to
signing of contract etc. These two key components are strictly your responsibility.
I will handle neither contracts nor payments.

- You are responsible for all your personal property and wedding gifts day of.

***Info about Wedding Stylist: The caterer & florist can manage the basics of course. Normally the caterer and florist mange it just perfectly. A designer will execute the complete nuance at the venue. They would take care of the overall look (ranging from floral arrangements for the tables, to the bar to the bathroom etc)

That’s where the stylist comes in. I make sure everyone pulls it together.
After all, it takes great patience, exquisite attention to detail and a natural flair for the creative to make a setting that looks intentional, striking and romantic, not just thrown together. A stylist will ensure perfection and WOW you by recreating your minds eye. Think of a stylist like an interior decorator but for your wedding! Your Wedding Stylist will review your vision, unpack your decor, set up every detail and stylize ‘till perfection. Let me know if you’d like to hire that someone special. They normally cost $500.
